Wi-Fi in vehicles
The mobile Internet access system consists of devices installed in vehicles (e.g. router, antenna) and a Wi-Fi management system in vehicles at the CMS position of the monitoring system. Passengers can access the Internet by accepting the regulations or by registering.
Internet access may be free with a lower speed and paid for a higher speed. After selecting the vehicle’s Wi-Fi network, the passenger will be redirected to the selected page, where, for example, tourist information in various languages and advertisements may be posted. The Wi-Fi management system additionally visualizes the location of vehicles on Google Maps with the stop, speed and traffic information. You can also recreate the route of the vehicle, which is very useful for e.g. settling delays. The Wi-Fi management system allows you to remotely and fully manage devices and the network in the vehicle. It also displays information about connected users, which facilitates, for example, advertising campaigns.
System Features:
LTE network support;
Advanced operator system showing the number of currently logged in users and the location of the vehicle;
Possibility of separate access;
Possibility to create a start page with ads;
The router can be equipped with 2 pockets for SIM cards and the function of automatic switching of operators in the absence of a network.
